Tito turns 230!
Well, here we are, 230 years later, which feels right about how long it’s been since I last properly updated. Happy Tito Day to all 🙂
I started a mini-Tito series, in order to celebrate, in which I talk (I’m under the illusion it goes faster than writing… I may be wrong) about my perennial favourite Tito production – the Sellars 2017, obviously. Just kidding, wrong Salzburg year, wrong speed 😉 Give it a listen below. You know you’ve missed my soothing voice vintage non-Currentzified Mozart…

Yay, new Tito content! 😊Thank you and happy Tito Day!
Hi, Anna, good to see you’re still around 🙂 Hope you’re doing well. It was lots of fun coming back to Tito 🙂
you’re alive! 🙂 , and also with bells as intro for the podcast just like famous opera podcasts! tuning in now…
ah, on keeping things up to date.. the oboe dancing… mozart would be happy to see 😉
ahhhh, the overture.. time to hook up the niiice speakers! whenever i hear this overture i see Tito in long skirt running around with the phone!
ah! it’s really the Salzburg version! i was wondering whether i recognize the singing!
i also like , as it’s always in my head, the intro of this opera, is the overture plus recit plus first duet!
i also can’t wait to hear more discussion about Annio (aka your love for the ice queen 😉 )
oh, really, this is the most music and singing of the series?.. ok ok, i’ll manage, as you say , other section / duet / aria..
bonus, duet again.. i see the visual is working just fine in my head!
