Where is the Feldmarschall out hunting?
Octavian (lustig): Der Feldmarschall sitzt im krowatischen Wald und jagt auf Bären und Luchsen.
In Kopački Rit, most likely:
Hold on, you will say, Octavian talks about bears and lynxes and you’re showing me fish and water snakes?! Perhaps he’s hunting for neither 😉 Also, this was almost 300 years ago, so we can imagine the Eurasian wild was wilder back then.
But lynxes are cool, so let’s say the Feldmarschall said Croatia but meant Slovakia:
That landscape and the crunching snow makes me wonder if I wouldn’t like it better in the company of the whiskered husband… Had you asked me 15 years earlier there would’ve been no contest! Bonus at 3:50min in: kittens!

There we go!
lynx!!! sooo keut!
I know, I wanted the video just as an example and then I didn’t stop watching.
i ended up watching the whole lynx video…. squee!!! they are so adorable!!!
the video is very good, great shots, excellent editing, cute stars, lucky find 😉
i watched the whole lynx video too.. waaaaaay cute. (they’re my fav animal, have pix on my wall, for their thiiiiick paws and ear antennas, and waaay cute face..)
I love it when they take a shower in the kitty box 😀 or when the boy goes to take a bath in the river after the handler has worked really hard to put up the electric fence. Haha. Animals are more resourceful than we think.
jeah, was funny they volunteer to go in the carriage !! i was curious but guessing he didnt have access to radio collars? b/c that s how these animals are tracked these days. now you got me watching the 3rd documentary lynx video!
I had the feeling it was done with minimal funding. I watched a couple of more myself 😉 other ones that I like a lot are about animals in the Arctic.
am currently on the one in sweden chewing on deers, but will search for the Artic one next!
(please ignore, am just testing if i can reply…)
so i finished the Arctic (while working of course..), then onto animals of Kamchatka, then on to scavengers of the savanna, and finally crocodiles of the world :-d . i saw once a program on hyppopotamus that was super fascinating too…
I have to tell you, now everytime i go on youtube this cute little lynx is “inviting” me to rewatch.. very difficult to resist!
no need to resist 😉
back to more cat, sooo keut!! 🙂
❤
First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head prior
to writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my ideas
out there. I truly do take pleasure in writing
but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Kudos!
Hi 🙂 well, I guess it’s best to start with what comes naturally and edit later with beginning and end. Maybe blogs are different, though sometimes I too have trouble putting my ideas in order. I think in the end it’s a matter of practice and of writing what just flows out of you.
i worked hard to get back here, for some distraction 🙂
ps- there is more too.. i just saw a full program of cats 😉
OMG! the cutest!
black footed cats mean business 😉
there’s an over-dramatized version of it, narrated by American of course.. but offers a bit more footage including yawning!! (come on, you know you want to see her yawn!)
as usual, apparently US audience won’t watch BBC nature show they say if it’s narrated with a British accent.. so they always swap sound out for some dramatic version.. )
well, of course it’s with a British accent 😉 but I thought Americans just loved “the” British accent?
i thought so too, apparently not so for nAture shows.. they also swapped out all sounds for “frozen planet”, and made disney out of “march of the penguins”
that’s rather odd, Attenborough’s voice is part of the charm over here. Btw, I’m watching the “yawn” version with the cat in my lap (purring) 🙂
(while you’re at it, you want to see her family too? 😀 )
😀 efficient, hard working and cute as hell! ❤ ❤ ❤
more cats for you. i was listening to N.Stutzmann singing Schubert, and this is the recommended video.. i might have watched a bit too many cat videos according to the suggestion 😉
OMG! contraltos + cats = WS heaven 😉
(ah, in case you were looking for the companioned contralto clip 😉 ). actually that was my first time i heard her on tube.. looong time ago.. i’ve always come back to the clip from time to time
I thought it was one of those where she has “the tongue piercing2 😉
ok, and i’ve just done watcing an 8-part videos from that cat guy.. now i must quit and do some work
I am at work watching it all 😀 had to stop and dish out some money but hopefully more soon. Those were great playful moments. I actually have some of that kind of stuff on my old external drive which is mac formatted and have not used it again because of not wanting to lose the cat footage.
check out Catadeus!
ah hahahahhaa
i did end up watching all 2 hrs of the video , those cats in Cairo way cute!!
yes, I also liked the Japanese story about the cat who ate the wife 😉
i found another cuute cat docu, in case you need entertainment while staying indoor 🙂
