“Wattsy’s Water Music”

What was the first ever record/cd you bought?
Especially For You by Kylie & Jason. It was on vinyl if that makes it any cooler.

During a culture break at work I found this Facing the music episode featuring the recent Ulisse‘s Minerva, aka soprano Elizabeth Watts. The series is pretty entertaining in general (the Iestyn Davies episode is good as well) if you take it for what it is – classical musicians in their regular people incarnation answering more or less fluffy questions and sometimes taking the piss out of themselves or not minding if others do. Watts sounds particularly prone to deadpan humour.

  1. i saw that one, and recognized her name from Ulisse! was a pretty fun interview to read too

  2. Thanks for this. She sounds great! Is your ‘culture break’ when others in your work place have a ‘fag break’? 😉
