Thursday’s Something Else on Friday (Romitelli)

tseAfter a few weeks of taking it easy with the self challenges, today was a good day to have the music come to me. I’d never heard of Fausto Romitelli and his An Index of Metals until just now but it’s a gorgeous summer day which means I’m game for nearly anything. It’s got a slow start but it does get better. The vocal part, when it shows up, is actually the easiest to take on upon a first listen; it helps that the singer has a full, round voice. The music becomes atmospheric when it gets more amplified. It’s rather nicely structured.
